Have a great weekend! What are you up to? It’s Easter on Sunday, and we are planning to spend time with family and friends. If you are sticking around town we have a few ideas for you, plus some fun links from around the internet, just because. Hope you have a good one!
For the Kids
Through May 6th, The Minnesota Children’s Museum in St. Paul is presenting a Very Eric Carle: A Very Hungry, Quiet, Lonely, Clumsy, Busy Exhibit. The museum has brought the beautiful art from the wonderful children’s books and made it larger than life! So cool.
It’s Easter weekend, so it’s not hard to find a good egg hunt. The Three Rivers Park District has not one but several fun egg hunting events!
(Or check out this extensive list of egg hunts and other spring-themed activities for families.)
For the Grown-Ups
An adult Easter Beer Hunt, because why should kids have all the fun? 😉
Next Thursday, a horn quintet from the Minnesota Orchestra is teaming up with Sociable Cider Werks for a micro-concert, Symphony and Suds. So good!
For the Whole Family
It’s spring, which means it’s time for Macy’s Flower Show! This year’s theme is America the Beautiful.
Riverdance is back in Minneapolis, celebrating it’s 20th Anniversary. A blend of Irish and modern dance and music, it’s sure to be a spectacular show.
For the Sports Fan
Baseball might be right around the corner, but we are still a few weeks away. In the meantime, we’re deep in March Madness and holding on to hockey. Make your way to the Xcel Center this weekend to check out the 2016 NCAA Men’s Hockey tournament.
For the True Blue Minneapolite
On April 3rd, Nye’s Polonaise Room is closing it’s doors. Be sure to stop by this week to pay homage to this historical institution.
NE Minneapolis is getting a Costco! (Also a Meijer for those Michigan natives!)
Just for Fun
This egg bake looks perfect for a springtime brunch.
