This Sunday, Open Streets is coming to Nicollet Avenue! From 11am to 5pm, bike, skate or walk down Nicollet and meet other community members and get to know local businesses. Nicollet Avenue from Lake Street to 46th Avenue.
Leaves are changing, Halloween Candy is out, must be time for Oktoberfest! This weekend, experience the fun at the Saint Paul Oktoberfest party, featuring live music, polka bands, brats and pretzels, and of course, German beer! Rice Park, Friday the 18th from 4-10p, and Saturday the 19th from 10a-10p. Admission is Free! $5 wristband required to buy alcohol.
Another great beer-centric event is the Autumn Brew Review! Featuring local and national craft breweries at the historic Grain Belt Brewery complex, it’s THE beer tasting event of the season! It’s unfortunately sold out, but if you are lucky to have a ticket, you’ll have a great time!
The fall Parade of Homes is going on until October 4th! What a great way to get ideas for your own abode! Thursdays thru Sundays, 12-6pm. Homes are Free to tour! Dream homes request a $5 donation. More info here!
Not only that, but you can stroll around the Longfellow Neighborhood for the LoLa Art Crawl! For a neighborhood event, this will be pretty big, with 115 artists! Saturday and Sunday, 10am-5pm.
Speaking of neighborhood events, Saturday is Merriam Park’s 3rd Annual “Ice Cream, Peanut Butter and Jam“! Bring a jar of peanut butter for the food pantry and spend the afternoon eating free Izzy’s ice cream along to some great local music. What a blast! Saturday from 12-4pm at Merriam Park in St. Paul.
For more family fun, check out the Sever’s Corn Maze! Get lost and found in the firefighter-themed maze, or purchase up a pumpkin or two at the pumpkin patch. Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays thru Nov 1st. Tickets are $15 (3 and under free!) and include the maze, games, a petting zoo, entertainment and more. See details here!
