It’s Spring Break! This weekend is all about celebrations, music, and art. We plan to spend some time with our families, and will try to sneak outside if the weather stays nice. If not, museums and plays are always a good choice!
Festivities are under way as our iconic First Avenue celebrates it’s 45th Anniversary! Glam Dolls Donuts and other local businesses are getting into it – don’t those donuts look amazing?! To join the party, check out First Ave’s Celebration in the Main Room and the Record Room on Friday at 7pm.
The Harlem Globetrotters are here to seek revenge on the Washington Generals! See them face off on April 4th, 2pm and 7pm at the Target Center.
Are your kids animal lovers? Bring them to the “FutureVet” event at the Children’s Museum to meet a veterinarian and a therapy dog! Saturday, 11:30.
First weekends mean art! St. Paul galleries will be open to the public for Lowertown First Fridays, and The Walker Art Museum is featuring storytelling events for families as part of their free first Saturday.
Or maybe you want something a little different? Performance artists will be creating new works by appropriating a variety of texts at the Uncreativity Festival. Friday and Saturday at 7pm, Bryant-Lake Bowl.
