We are starting to have major Spring Fever. It has been chilly but we aren’t going to let that get to us. Warmer weather is ahead, folks! This weekend, there are plenty of activities to keep everyone occupied, from plays, art, and concerts to spring time festivities. With so many amazing events going on in the Twin Cities, it’s difficult to choose! Here are some that have caught our eye:
It’s “Spring Fling” Weekend at the Como Park Zoo & Conservatory! Learn about spring-time changes for animals and wildlife, do crafts, and take part in the Como Camera photo challenge! Ongoing activities are planned for this free family event, Saturday and Sunday from 10am-4pm.
While you’re there, be sure to take a peek at the Spring Flower Show in the Sunken Garden.

For more family fun, “Start the Music” is the Saint Paul Chamber Orchestra’s fantastic series aimed at introducing children to classical music. Children get to try instruments, play games, and attend a short concert. Saturday, 10am, at the Capri Theater. RSVP and reserve your free tickets here.
It’s time for the annual 30 Days of Biking Challenge! Are you up for it? Pledge to bike every day in April, no matter the distance. The free kickoff ride is Sunday at 11am, Gold Medal Park.
The Northwest Sportshow is going on at the Convention Center through this weekend. Stop by to gear up!
Theater Latte Da is completing their run of the twisted fairy tale musical, Into the Woods, at the beloved Ritz Theater in Northeast Minneapolis this weekend. Last chance!
