The neighborhood of St. Anthony Park is in the northwestern corner of St. Paul, Minnesota. The neighborhood is bordered by Hoyt Avenue to the north, the University of Minnesota and the Minnesota State Fair Grounds to the east, and I-94 to the south, and the rail road yard past Highway 280 to the west. St. Anthony Park is between the Minneapolis and St. Paul campuses of the University of Minnesota, close to the Mississippi River, and near the Minnesota State Fair Grounds.

The Mississippi River lies just southwest of the neighborhood, and provides a series of trails for people to walk or cycle along the river.
