The neighborhood is bordered by the Burlington Northern railroad yard to the north, Highway 280 and St. Paul to the east, the Mississippi River to the south, and Oak Street to the west. Nearby, Luxton Park offers more sporting and recreation amenities including a basketball court, soccer and softball fields, a playground, wading pool, walking paths, a garden, and a recreation center. The Luxton Park Recreation Center offers a notable variety of youth programming and other community offerings including youth and adult sports, Youthline mentorship programs, arts, community events, and community resources and gatherings. The community center also offers an indoor gym with basketball and volleyball courts, rentable meeting rooms, a craft room, kitchen, and public computer lab. Chergosky Park is another small green space offering a picnic area and playground in the southeastern corner of the Prospect Park neighborhood.
