The Ericsson neighborhood is located in the Nokomis district of Minneapolis, Minnesota, about 4.5 miles south of downtown Minneapolis. The neighborhood is bordered by 42nd and 43rd Streets to the north, Hiawatha Avenue to the east, Minnehaha Parkway to the south, and Cedar Ave to the west. Minnehaha Creek runs throughout Ericsson, providing walking and cycling paths to Lake Hiawatha and Lake Nokomis, as well as Minnehaha Park to the east. Two public libraries are within walking distance of Ericsson listings: Roosevelt to the north, which was renovated in 2013, and Nokomis to the south, which was renovated in 2011.
