East Isles Neighborhood is a desirable neighborhood east of the Lake of the Isle, southwest of Downtown Minneapolis, and part of the Uptown business district. The boundaries of East Isles are 22nd Street West to the north, Hennepin Avenue South to the east, West Lake Street on the south, and the Lake of the Isles and South Knox Avenue to the west. The East Isles neighborhood helps to make up part of Uptown, and is in close proximity to lakes, parks, walking and biking trails, libraries, shops, restaurants, and cafes.

Residents who wish to commute by bike can take the Midtown Greenway, which provides a scening route that spans across Minneapolis.
